LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY

KontrolFreek, LLC (“KontrolFreek” or “we”) prides itself on its attention to detail and the quality of its products and materials.

We offer a Lifetime Limited Warranty for all of our Gaming Cables purchased after January 14th, 2020 on the terms & conditions set forth below.

If your Gaming Cable malfunctions or fails to perform, you may be eligible for a free replacement (Terms & Conditions apply).

To obtain service under this Warranty, please Contact our Customer Support team with the following information in order to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Photo/Video of the faulty product

KONTROLFREEK LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY (HEREAFTER “WARRANTY”)

As of January 14, 2020

WHAT DOES THE WARRANTY COVER?

The Warranty covers all functional aspects of the Product (as defined below) under normal use. Only original, unaltered and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by the Warranty.

WHAT DOES THE WARRANTY NOT COVER?

Any problem caused in whole or in part by abuse, misuse, alterations, modifications, exposure to excessive heat, liquids, sand or other contaminants or an act of God, such as but not limited to flood, drought, earthquake or any other natural disaster is not covered. Such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of KontrolFreek. The Warranty does not cover the replacement of lost or stolen Products.

HOW LONG DOES THE WARRANTY LAST?

The Warranty lasts as long as the Customer owns the Product. This Warranty does not apply to used or refurbished purchases or purchases from an unauthorized seller of the Product.

HOW DOES THE WARRANTY WORK?

Should the Product malfunction or fail to perform, subject to the terms and conditions of the Warranty, the Product shall be repaired or replaced by KontrolFreek with the same or most similar available KontrolFreek Product. Due to the nature of the Product, repair or identical replacement parts may not be available at the time of the claim. KontrolFreek shall replace a damaged part with the closest matching Product or the closest matching part of the Product in the closest matching color. This choice shall be handled on a case-by-case basis between KontrolFreek and the Customer. Should a dispute between KontrolFreek and the Customer arise on the option to choose, the final decision is at the discretion of KontrolFreek.

STEPS TO TAKE IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG WITH YOUR PRODUCT

To obtain service under this Warranty, the Customer must first contact KontrolFreek Customer Support through our Support Page to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution.

In order to support claims under the Warranty, Customer Service will require the information below to examine the claim:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Photo/Video of the faulty product
  • Registration of the product

UNDER WHICH CONDITIONS DOES THE WARRANTY APPLY?

The Customer is eligible to pursue a claim under certain conditions, including:

  1. The Customer is able to present the Product;
  2. The Customer is able to present the receipt of the Product;
  3. The Customer has activated their Lifetime Limited Warranty by registering their product.

KontrolFreek may ask the Customer to complete a claim form.

To obtain the benefit of the Warranty, the Customer has to deliver the Product via prepaid transportation to KontrolFreek. KontrolFreek shall not assume the risk of loss of the Product during shipment from Customer to KontrolFreek. After the Product is delivered to KontrolFreek, KontrolFreek will inspect the Product and contact the Customer within fourteen business days to give the results of the inspection and inform the Customer of the next steps. The costs associated with shipping the Product back to the Customer shall be borne by KontrolFreek.

WARRANTY GOVERNING LAW

The Warranty is governed by the internal laws of the State of Georgia of the United States of America without regard to its rules of conflicts of law. The exclusive venue for any dispute, directly or indirectly arising from or relating to this Warranty shall be the federal and state courts residing in Cobb County, Georgia. The Warranty shall not affect any additional rights that the Customer may have under the laws of the jurisdiction where the Product was bought and governing the sale of consumer goods.

DEFINITIONS

Customer

The person who owns the Product and purchased such Product from KontrolFreek or an authorized KontrolFreek dealer of the Product.

KontrolFreek

The company KONTROLFREEK, LLC, a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the State of Alabama of the United States of America.

Product

The KontrolFreek gaming cable that is (i) accompanied by this Warranty and (ii) that is bought directly by the Customer from KontrolFreek or from an authorized KontrolFreek dealer of the Product. This Warranty does not apply to used or refurbished purchases or purchases from anyone who is not an authorized KontrolFreek dealer of the Product.
